one of six acts in vhi’s upcoming special “divas salute the troops,” katy’s image was the only one submitted to the hands of photoshop, while sugarland’s jennifer nettles, nicki minaj, grace potter of the nocturnals, keri hilson, and paramore’s hayley williams are all sporting their true colors in the poster. weirdly enough, it was katy’s own representatives that suggested someone lasso in her infamous 34ds–probably the result of  katy’s recent sesame street skit which was banned from airing on tv because it was argued that the pop star’s decolletage wasn’t suitable to be seen on a children’s show. 

but it seems a bit bizarre that reducing katy’s bustline would be a bone of contention for this vhi ad since each lady seen in this sextuplet is also sporting some serious cleavage. actually, that’s exactly where the eye is drawn to in each shot. perhaps katy’s reps didn’t want people to think that it was really “katy perry and other divas salute the troops,” because katy’s rack is the largest of the bunch, not to mention her image is slightly larger than the other girls, which could be subliminal nod to the  larger star power that is the katy perry brand?

equally bizarre is the fact that this is a special dedicated to honoring american servicemen and women when it’s american’s who love anything and everything bigger–and not just in texas.

either way, poor katy. neither her nor her breasts seem to be able to catch a break.

oh, and kathy griffin is hosting this little soiree, which will air on december 5. and just so you know, her girls are real.
